HeJi Vilnius

Task

872 m² of inspiration, 235 seats for unforgettable gastronomic experiences, and three defining colors — deep blue, rich crimson, and noble gold.

HeJi in Vilnius is a space where architecture, textures, and lighting come together to create pure magic. This project showcases complex and expressive finishing techniques, including microcement, decorative plaster, and oxidized brass, ensuring that every corner of the restaurant embodies a profound concept.

Key Design Elements:

Spiral Staircase: A three-story structure coated in rich crimson microcement. This material was the only choice capable of delivering a flawlessly smooth and durable surface for such intricate geometry.

Reception Desk: A massive counter clad in black microcement and accented with brass detailing, setting an immediate tone of sophistication upon entry.

Speakeasy-Style Bar: The walls are finished with decorative plaster, while the floor features deep blue microcement, creating an atmosphere of mystery and intimacy.

Corridor: Terracotta-toned Marmorino plastered walls are complemented by patinated brass doors, making each transition feel like a scene in a theatrical design production.

Restrooms: These spaces integrate the restaurant’s three signature colors. One restroom features walls and flooring in blue microcement paired with oxidized brass, while another showcases bold crimson microcement. Both were crafted using the Standard range from Topciment.

Main Hall: The central art installation — a rock formation sculpted from a cement-sand mixture — mimics the effect of weathered stone. Vintage-style decorative plaster completes the look, adding depth and authenticity.

The Result

HeJi is more than just a restaurant; it is a space where every detail contributes to a cohesive narrative. Working with such materials demands precision craftsmanship and meticulous attention to every element. We take pride in bringing this intricate concept to life, creating an atmosphere where design and gastronomy merge into a seamless experience.
